Licensed Acupuncturist / Owner

AJ was introduced to acupuncture in high school after a sports injury he suffered while playing baseball. That experience influenced him greatly and ultimately led to him becoming an acupuncturist. Today he is considered a leader and pioneer within the field through the development of Electro-Acupuncture Medicine (EAM™).

He received his Bachelor’s of Science at The College of New Jersey in Health and Exercise Science in 2010. He later went on to receive his Masters degree from The Eastern School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Montclair, New Jersey in 2012.

As a competitive high school and collegiate athlete in baseball, AJ was always intrigued by sports performance and recovery. This interest led him to specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries through the use of neuro-functional acupuncture.

Shannon graduated with her B.S. in Rehabilitation Sciences and later her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. She has gained experience at multiple clinic settings and has had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of diagnoses related to sports and musculoskeletal injuries, vestibular disorders, post-operative care, neurological disorders, and more.

Shannon had her first encounter with physical therapy after sustaining a soccer injury and has been in love with the profession ever since. The one-on-one attention and personalized care are just a couple of the characteristics that drew her in to this great field. She continues to grow her passion with an individualized approach to returning active people and athletes back to their livelihoods, addressing specific needs and goals in her plan of care. Shannon is a big NY Mets fan and in her free time enjoys doing outdoor activities with her family and her dog, Shea.

Dr. TJ Abrams grew up in Monmouth county playing football and baseball since he can remember. Dr. Abrams began his health care career at the young age of 18, when he received his first personal training certification. He fell in love with helping others reach their fitness goals. After obtaining 3 different training certifications, he decided to turn his passion for helping his personal training clients into helping patients.

Dr. Abrams received his doctorate at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic. His treatment style consists largely of evidence based practices which include hands on therapy with an emphasis on strength training. Dr. Abrams is constantly motivating his patients to not only see the chiropractor but to also include resistance training into their rehab protocol.

When Dr. Abrams isn’t treating patients, he loves to golf, ride his motorcycle, and cry at the TV or at MetLife stadium when the NY Giants are playing.

Licensed Acupuncturist

Clint was first introduced to acupuncture during his years as a competitive swimmer.
